Citizen M – Targeted technology
I came across this new product idea today. From what I understand, Citizen M is a new hotel concept which combines low cost (99 euros/night) with 5 star luxury. Lots of interesting technology from Philips, with modular constructionĀ and minimal human intervention = low staff costs. The first one is due to open on 26th June at Schipol with another soon after in Amsterdam. It will be coming to the UK shortly after. If they have hit on a good consumer insight (and it made sense to me)Ā around the target traveller it could be a big success. The video is worth a look too.
