Actually the top ranked travel innovation of the last 10 years turns out to be….fanfare….the humble roller bag with retractable handle, according to a recent Budget Travel survey. Just goes to show that applying a technology (even a well known technology – in this case the wheel) in a way which really delivers for the user can make a bigger impact than bringing in a completely new technology.
