Our capabilities

We are experts in solving the issue of low adhesion through controlled water addition. We work with our rail industry partners to design, approve, manufacture and install our patented train-mounted solution, Water-Trak. Through extensive passenger service testing, especially during the difficult autumn period, we have developed a knowledge base which enables us to accurately configure our systems to suit our customers’ unique operational requirements.

Current products:

Class 319 EMU (WTS001.4) – in service with Northern Trains

  • Tank capacity               200 litres per driving vehicle

  • Delivery system             Electric diaphragm pump

  • Frost protection            Tank trace heating

  • Triggering method         WSP activation, selectable driver’s sand button

  • Dispense duration         Programmable between 1 – 60 seconds.


Class 170 DMU (WTS002.3) – in service with Northern Trains

  • Tank capacity. 120 litres per driving vehicle

  • Delivery system             Pneumatic piston pump

  • Frost protection            Tank trace heating

  • Triggering method         WSP activation

  • Dispense duration         Programmable between 1 – 60 seconds.


Class 444 EMU (WTS003.1) – in development for South Western Railway

  • Tank capacity               150 litres per driving vehicle

  • Delivery system             Twin electric diaphragm pumps

  • Frost protection            Tank trace heating

  • Triggering method         WSP activation

  • Dispense duration         Programmable between 1 – 60 seconds.


Class 450 EMU (WTS003.1) – in development for South Western Railway
